A skimpy bikini can be sheer, string, g-string, thong, halter, crochet or a combination of all or some of these. Most of these bikini styles are so extreme that they are not even legal to wear in public in the United States. Now, if you’re going to Europe or Rio or some other island paradise, chances are you will fit right in being mostly nude.
Some of the more popular skimpy bikini styles can best be described as ‘barely there’. The string bikini top is comprised of a small triangle of material covering each breast, connected by a thin string of fabric, which also secures the top behind your neck or around your back.
The bottoms of this skimpy bikini style are a triangle of fabric covering the frontal area connected by a string in between your legs and around your waist. There’s no fabric for the buttocks, so wearers of the infamous string bikini are advised to work out at gym accordingly.
