Bikini separates are the way to go. Not everyone that is a size small on top is necessarily a size small on bottom – women are just not built that way. That is why it is silly that some bikinis are sold together as either smalls, mediums, or larges, etc.

A bikini is a very revealing piece of swimwear – women want to make sure that they can find a bikini that fits in the best possible way because it will look better and it will stay in place better. If you are buying bikini separates, you are much more likely to get a good fitting suit.

Just think of when you go and buy your underwear and bras. A certain size bra is most certainly not attached to the same size underwear. Lingerie departments would not get any business if they sold their items in that way. Women are simply not sized that way, so why should the items that they buy be?

The question is -- and I am not really sure – what happens to all of the leftover bikini separates? Companies that make bikini separates are sure to have leftover tops and bottoms of certain sizes and styles since people have been given the option to pick whichever style and size of bikini separates suit them best.

Perhaps these leftover bikini separates are the best ones to mix and match into crazy and unique bikini pairs – you can probably find these leftover bikini separates on sale, too. Most likely, though, over the years and with lots of research, companies have insured that only a few bikini separates will be left over – they have probably found out which styles and sizes are in the highest demand, and they can make the most of those bikini separates. Who really knows, though, what happens to those bikini separates?
