Bikini modeling is the ultimate step in modeling – you have no fancy dresses or outfits to hide behind. What you see is what you get. And bikini modeling is not just about being stick-thin like runway modeling seems to be these days. To do bikini modeling you must have some substance to your body – some curves in all the right places. And to do bikini modeling, you need to have not just a great body, but character, as well. So, what do you need to become a bikini model?

· First of all, you need to have a great body – not to thin and not to large.
· And this body of yours needs to look fantastic in a bikini.
· You also need to have nice skin. This does not necessarily mean you need to have a Hawaiian Tropics tan. It just means that you need to have unblemished skin without huge scars or odd marks.
· You most definitely need to have a ton of confidence. No matter how fabulous a woman’s body is, if she does not feel confident, she is not going to shine in a bikini.
· Try to find a modeling agent.
· Enter a bikini contest – get out there and get noticed.

Yes, bikini modeling can be difficult to get into, but one of the best steps that you can take is to enter a bikini modeling contest. Show off what you have got. Brazilian Bikinis has a fabulous bikini modeling contest that anyone can enter (this is not, of course, to say that anyone can win…).

The Brazilian Bikini bikini modeling contest is easy to enter. Just send in anywhere from 1-5 photos of yourself, along with a short bio, to modelsearch@brazilian-bikinis.org. Do not worry about getting professional photographs to send in… snapshots are fine. Brazilian Bikinis does not want proof that you can hire a fabulous photographer, they want proof that you look fabulous in a bikini.

Only one finalist will be crowned Miss Brazilian Bikini 2007, but all of the top 10 finalists will get a chance to dip their toes into bikini modeling – the top 10 finalists will be photographed and judged in all of the latest swimwear brands featured in the Brazilian Bikinis catalog.

In this bikini modeling contest, you could win $15,000 in prizes and giveaways. You could also win a professional photography shoot in Mexico that will be featured in the Brazilian Bikini online catalogue. Such a contest as this is the perfect first step to getting into bikini modeling.
